Join us for Global Accessibility Awareness Day 2025 in Edinburgh on Thursday 15 May 2025

2pm - 4.45pm (2.30pm start for online)

We’re excited to celebrate Global Accessibility Awareness Day (GAAD) with a special event at our Edinburgh headquarters — and you can join us in person or online!

Whether you're working in digital, design, tech, or simply passionate about inclusion, this is a great opportunity to connect, learn, and be inspired.

What to expect on the day:

  • Talks from accessibility advocates and experts – including presentations from our own Snigdha Ramkumar on Accommodating Neurodiverse Users Online and from Kevin White, Accessibility Technical Lead, W3C on WCAG 3.0: the why’s, wherefores, and where the hell are we?
  • Live demos and hands-on activities showcasing inclusive technology and design
  • An interactive empathy workshop focused on neurodiversity, helping you gain new perspectives through lived experience
  • Networking opportunities with others who care about digital inclusion and accessibility
  • Online streaming of the talks for those who can’t attend in person

UPDATE - our in-person tickets have now sold out, but you can join our two speaking slots online!

Let’s come together to make digital experiences better for everyone.
