World Usability Day, Nov 2022

World Usability Day is finally back, and User Vision are excited to once again throw open the doors of our HQ in the heart of Edinburgh for an immersive afternoon of UX fun!

We will be hosting a range of activities, demos and workshops that showcase UX, accessibility and service design topics. These will feature this year’s WUD theme – Our Health(this will open in a new window) by focusing on the many ways that UX can positively impact on our personal and the planet’s health.

• Listen to our panel of experts from the Health sector discuss the importance of good digital experiences in the delivery of healthcare services
• Learn about and apply the Top Tasks method to optimise site content and navigation
• Try your hand at designing a low carbon footprint website and learn the most impactful factors
• Learn how Perception-Cognition-Action analysis can be used to understand root causes of user errors in hazardous situations and medical product design
• Immerse in Virtual Reality to explore how this tool can be used in healthcare training and clinical practice
• Network with those in the UX field, share your experiences, enjoy free nibbles and possibly win in our charity raffle!
