User Research: Calling Disabled Teachers

Who we are looking for

We want to hear from disabled teachers who have experience working in schools in England. Whether you have a physical disability, sensory impairment, learning difficulty, or are neurodivergent, your insights will help shape a more inclusive digital platform for educators and students alike.

Why your input matters

We are conducting this research on behalf of Oak National Academy to understand the specific challenges faced by disabled teachers when using online educational tools. By taking part in this research, you will play a key role in making digital education more accessible for teachers and students nationwide.

How you can get involved

Participants will take part in a remote interview where they can share their experiences and perspectives on accessibility in digital learning. The interview will be conducted online at a time that suits you. As a thank-you for your time and insights, you will receive £150 for your participation.

Following this, participants will be asked to use the Oak Platform to plan and deliver at least one lesson using the Oak resources on a topic of their choice.

After using the platform, participants will take part in a 30-minute remote interview to reflect on their experiences — these interviews will be held in early March.
