Overview

Is the experience of the user more important than the experience of the earth? Does digital put convenience and ease-of-use above sustainability? If we want to create a sustainable UX then we must not simply consider the user experience when we make decisions; we must also consider the earth experience.

We are pleased to welcome Gerry McGovern, creator of the top tasks methodology and author of World Wide Waste: How digital is killing the planet and what to do about it(this will open in a new window) which explores the impact of our digital lifestyle on our only planet, and how to minimise that impact. Hear from Gerry about how we can place Earth Experience at the centre of our digital activities and what you can do at an individual and organisational level to improve the earth experience as well as the user experience.

The session will be an hour long, starting at 10am and there will be an opportunity to ask questions at the end.
