AutoTrader were one of the first publishing organisations to provide a dedicated mobile solution. They were looking to expand their mobile portfolio. What was important to AutoTrader was marrying up consistency across the mobile platform but leveraging the different handset capabilities.
What we did
User Vision worked with AutoTrader conducting user needs groups (requirements capturing), lab based usability testing (prototypes) and crucially forecourt testing with the app. The forecourt testing allowed us to understand what prospective car buyers want in-situ.
User Vision defined the premium advertisement journeys and helped to seamlessly integrate the AutoTrader app with the seller. This was performed with both new and used vehicles.
